Glossary

Every acronym, expanded.

Karnataka institutions, central frameworks, platform terms — what each one stands for, what it does in one line, and where it lives in the manifesto. A one-page reference so you can land on any chapter and follow what is being referred to without back-paging.

A glowing glossary book on a wooden table, with ribbons of light carrying acronym chips (KSSL, UMRS, KFDA, KUHE, JANATA, OCDS, KPB, CSOC, GJA, KAI, DHEC, CCF) toward a softly-glowing silhouette of Karnataka

What is the Karnataka State Service Log (KSSL)?
The proposed cryptographic floor beneath every state system. Every inter-system call is written to an append-only ledger that is never rewritten, every state action produces a signed receipt, and no citizen record can be accessed without an active consent token.
What is the Open Ledger?
A public record of every rupee received and spent, every contract and every milestone, published as it happens rather than audited years later. Each entry carries an amount, a date, a purpose and the name of whoever authorised it.
What is the Works Corps?
In-house state delivery capacity that replaces routine contractor dependency. Public works would be executed by the state's own teams by default, with contractors retained only for specialised or peak-load work.
What is the Oath Boundary?
The rule that a person is a party member until the oath of office and a public office-holder afterwards. From the oath onward they are bound to the Constitution, the law and their constituency — not to the party.
What is JANATA?
The citizen front door: one login reaching every state service, document, payment and grievance, with a visible clock on every request. Currently an interactive prototype.
